As you may be aware, Transnet has informed us that their Labour partners informed the Transnet Bargaining Council on 10 June 2021 that they rejected the offer from the Conciliator. The next step in the process was for the Conciliator to issue a strike certificate.
Savino Del Bene would like to inform all role-players involved in the wage negotiations that if the proposed strike were to go ahead then it will aggravate an already bad situation at the ports.
