Botswana has introduced compulsory compliance requirements under its SCSR regulated products programme, requiring certain regulated goods to comply with compulsory standards and obtain a Certificate of Conformity prior to export or customs clearance; affected commodities include electrical appliances, automotive parts (including tyres), chemicals, food and construction products.
